3D SCANS: HOUSEHOLD OBJECTS

3D print-ready 3D scans of common household objects.

Concept Realizations was contracted by the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute to produce 3D scans of dozens of common household objects, and to optimize them for SLA resin 3D printing. Accuracy, resolution, and ease of printing were important, as the models were to be used as controls in research relating to their use by people with low vision.
